About Us

We have been in the high end timber glasshouses trade for a combined time of over 40 years and have worked together now for over 13 years. Between us we have designed, manufactured and installed, so our knowledge is throughout the whole process of creating the perfect conservatory or orangery.

My love for design and building started at a very young age when I would go with my father to work, I would watch in amazement how a line drawing would quickly turn into reality. My father is a stonemason and every project he did was so different from the last, from bridges to houses to longbarrows the work has never ceased to amaze me.

As soon as I was able to I left school and started Shuttleworth College where I studied design, I soon found my flare which was the computer Aided Drawings. When I stepped out of college I went to work for a bespoke hardwood conservatory company as a junior design, I was put on CAD courses and within the year I was the head designer, I stayed at the company for over 10 years, designing hand crafted structures, including internal layouts and landscaping, I also processed all the planning applications for all the structures we built a lot of them being listed, conservation area and greenbelt applications.

With over 28 years experience working In the conservatory business and a knowledge of all aspects from building the base works to the final finishing of conservatories and orangeries, I feel I have a large wealth of knowledge that can help with the design, construction and finishing of your project.
I started working in a hardwood conservatory company in early 1987 sweeping the workshop floors in my spare time after school. I then joined the team full time in June 1987, I quickly moved up into the finishing department and started my 3 year carpentry apprenticeship which allowed me to move into the workshop. By 1992 I was running the workshop as production manager and it was during this time I started to learn all aspects of programming structures.
In 1999 my role changed and I was promoted to run the company, overseeing our onsite manufacturing and our off site installations amongst other jobs.
In 2002 I became sites manager and spent 5 years installing the highest quality of conservatories and orangeries. For the last 6 years I was back in the office overseeing all the workshops and sites Including all specifying and purchasing of materials and products for the company projects. My knowledge in high-end conservatory and orangery is throughout from the cleaning of glass through to installing, engineering knowledge and erecting and I want to continue to supply beautiful conservatories and orangeries that can be an integral part of your home.
